Shopify in Pakistan: prices, payments and how to start in 2026.

A plain guide for Pakistani brands thinking about their own Shopify store, written by a Shopify developer in Lahore. Facts checked against Shopify and payment provider pages on 24 October 2026.

The short answers

  • Is Shopify available in Pakistan? Yes. You can run a Shopify store from Pakistan and sell at home and abroad.
  • Does Shopify Payments work here? No. Pakistan isn't on Shopify's list of Shopify Payments countries, so you use cash on delivery and a third-party payment provider.
  • Can customers pay cash on delivery? Yes. It's a built-in manual payment method.
  • What does it cost? Shopify's Basic plan is US$25 a month on its Pakistan pricing page, with a 3-day free trial and then US$1 a month for the first 3 months.

Shopify prices in Pakistan

Shopify shows Pakistan prices in US dollars. These are the plan prices on Shopify's Pakistan pricing page on 24 October 2026. Your card or bank may add its own foreign currency charge.

PlanPaid monthlyPaid yearlySuits
BasicUS$25 a monthUS$22 a monthNew stores and solo sellers
GrowUS$65 a monthUS$58 a monthGrowing stores with a small team
AdvancedUS$399 a monthUS$359 a monthHigh-volume stores
PlusFrom US$2,300 a monthNot listedLarge brands

New stores get a 3-day free trial, then US$1 a month for the first 3 months on most plans. Prices change, so check Shopify's Pakistan pricing page before you buy. Most new Pakistani stores start on Basic.

Payments: what works for a Pakistani Shopify store

Because Shopify Payments isn't available in Pakistan, most stores here use two things together:

  • Cash on delivery. Still how many customers in Pakistan prefer to pay. You switch it on under Settings, then Payments, as a manual payment method.
  • A Pakistani payment provider for online payments. PayFast has a Shopify app that lists card, bank account and wallet payments. Safepay also has a Shopify app; its own guide says it processes PKR only and currently supports bank account transfers through the Payfast and NIFT channels.

Every provider has its own sign-up checks, documents and fees, and these change. Ask the provider for its current terms before you build your checkout around it. I set up whichever one you're approved for and test it with real orders before launch.

Shopify stores in Pakistan: two real examples

Both stores below are live, and I built both. Open them and try them on your phone.

  • Style by RK, a women's fashion brand that sold only on Instagram, moved to its own Shopify store and reached PKR 6 million in sales in one month.
  • Stationery Studio, a stationery and gifts brand, moved its Instagram shop to Shopify with a full catalogue, sale prices and a simple checkout.

What they have in common: collections that match how customers shop, prices and sizes on every product, delivery charges shown before checkout, and a checkout tested on real phones.

How to start a Shopify store in Pakistan

  1. Pick a plan. Start on Basic unless you already need staff accounts or advanced reports.
  2. Get your domain. A .pk or .com domain in your brand's name, connected to Shopify.
  3. Choose a theme. Shopify's free themes are a good start. Most stores only need a few custom sections on top.
  4. Add products properly. Clear photos, prices, sizes or variants, and collections that mirror how people browse.
  5. Set up payments. Cash on delivery first, then a payment provider once your account is approved.
  6. Set delivery charges. By city or by order value, and shown before checkout so there are no surprises.
  7. Test before launch. Place test orders on Android and iPhone, on mobile data, and check every email the customer receives.

Shopify or WooCommerce in Pakistan?

Shopify is hosted for you and needs less upkeep, but you pay a monthly plan in dollars plus any paid apps. WooCommerce runs on WordPress with no platform fee beyond hosting and gives you more control, but needs more looking after. For a fashion or lifestyle brand moving off Instagram, Shopify is usually the faster start. More about WooCommerce stores.

Want it built for you?

I set up Shopify stores for Pakistani brands from PKR 40,000, with a written scope, one fixed price and a weekly update. See Shopify store development or all website prices.
